Last year's winner
Wymondham Tourist Information Centre -
Jan Sutton, Joint Supervisor
This year's criteria:
This award recognises the positive impact that visitor information centres have in helping people to get maximum enjoyment from their visit.
The judges will be looking for provision of visitor services and friendly, well-informed and helpful staff, who act as real ambassadors for the county's tourism product.
In addition to excellent local knowledge the judges would expect to see imaginative ways of promoting Norfolk, its events and activities and engaging ways of attracting more visitors to information centres through the use of creative and comprehensive information displays.
The judges will also be looking for evidence of investment in staff training and development.
