A major coastline search has been underway this evening after a man went missing at Walcott.
Police said they received reports shortly before 9pm of a missing man, who may have been in the sea.
Coastguards at Happisburgh and Mundesley, as well as the RNLI lifeboat and the rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham were mobilised to help scour the coastline.
The man was found knee-deep in the water at Ostend, between Walcott and Happisburgh, shortly after 10pm.
Norfolk Police said he was “safe and well”, but being assessed for treatment by paramedics.
