Parents of an 18-year-old student, who died in a car crash in the Fens, today paid tribute to a fun loving and thoughtful girl.

Samantha Clarke died at Addenbrooke's Hospital on Saturday, October 31, after an accident on the B1141 Ely Road at Little Downham, near Ely, two weeks ago .

Samantha, who lived at Little Downham, was studying health and social care at Ely College and hoped to become a nurse, after studying at Queen's School, Wisbech.

In a statement issued via police family liaison officers today, her parents Alan Clarke and Deborah Norgate, said: “Samantha was a pretty, happy and healthy fun loving and thoughtful and caring girl.

"She was the loved sister of elder brother Daniel, 23, and younger siblings Alisha, 12, Celine, 11 and Zachary, eight.

“She also leaves stepsisters Sasha, Natalie and step parents Al & Lindsey. As well as boyfriend (for 17 months) Joe Baker.

"Samantha loved ponies, dogs, cats, fish, music, singing, dancing, clothes, shopping, parties, movies, and was secretary to the local football club."
