Stationery
As soon as you know where and when your wedding will be held, the stationery can be chosen.
Its usual to order it about five months ahead and, while it is traditional to send invitations six weeks before the big day, most couples send them before that to give guests plenty of time to plan.
The stationery possibilities are endless, from enhanced pictures of the bride and groom or a favourite scene from the Little Acorn Company to clever, cut-out designs, handprinted cards, sewn cards or the classic, printed cards.
Usually orders of service, menus and place cards can be ordered from the same company.
Ask for a sample of your invitation, and check the wording and spellings carefully before giving the go-ahead for printing. For tips on wording, ask your stationery suppliers or printers
