Win a break at Kelling Heath Holiday Park
Imaginative people of all ages are being asked to put pen, paint or crayon to paper to show how much they love Norfolk for the chance to win a
relaxing family break in our beautiful county.
This summer, the Eastern Daily Press is asking people what they think is special about Norfolk as part of its brand new Holiday here! competition.
Entry is simple, just take a sheet of A4 paper and tell us in your own words why Norfolk is special. Slogans, poems, drawings and articles under 100 words can all be entered for the competition.
Simon Middleton, the Brand Strategy Guru, and sponsor of the competition said: "We live in a beautiful, distinctive and vibrant county, with fantastic things to uncover and enjoy in every corner, from the coastline to the heart of the county, in town, city and countryside. So I'm thrilled to be sponsoring the EDP Holiday here! award, which is all about inviting EDP readers to celebrate Norfolk as a holiday destination and to tell its story loud and clear."
The winner will enjoy a four-night break amongst 250 acres of peaceful woodland at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, with three friends or family members.
The prize includes membership of the health and fitness centre at Kelling Heath for the duration of the stay, as well as family entrance tickets to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, the host of BBC Springwatch, and the historic North Norfolk Railway, where the guests will be able to enjoy a ride on a historic steam train.
The winner will also be invited to the EDP's offices in Norwich to meet the design team and develop their entry, which will be showcased at the EDP Tourism in Norfolk Awards.
One of the most prestigious tourism events in the region, it will take place on November 20, and the competition winner will be invited on stage to talk about their entry and receive a trophy.
So, time to let your imagination run wild!
