Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde and Beautiful South duo Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott have been added to the Latitude 2014 line-up, festival organisers have confirmed.
Also joining them on the Obelisk Arena will be American alt-country rock band The Jayhawks while American indie rock group Augustines will be headlining the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage.
The four acts will join already-confirmed headliners Two Door Cinema Club, Damon Albarn, The Black Keys, Editors, Bombay Bicycle Club and Tame Impala.
Hynde said she was looking forward to returning to Latitude after the Pretenders appeared at the festival in 2009.
She said: “Latitude is turning into one of the great British festivals. The site and the atmosphere really make it a very special weekend.”
Heaton and Abbott will perform songs from their new album and also play tracks from The Beautiful South and The Housemartins.
Rising stars Augustines promised there would be a few surprises in their show.
British electronic musician James Holden and alternative Scottish hip hop group Young Fathers will headline The iArena, which promotes up and coming names.
Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges has been named as the headline act in the comedy arena, joining Dara O Briain, Simon Amstell, Milton Jones, Al Murray and Josh Widdicombe in the line-up.
Speaking in the literary tent will be civil rights campaigner Shami Chakrabarti, New Statesman writer Laurie Penny, child therapist and TV personality Tanya Byron and literary editor Suzi Feay.
