Norwich-based marketing firm Creative Sponge has appointed a new art director.

Patrick Hennings joins the agency's six-strong creative studio.

Creative Sponge managing director Alex Tosh said: 'Patrick has a strong, all-round knowledge and skill set with particular experience in print design and branding within the property sector – which provides a great fit for the our team.'

Mr Hennings said: 'I'm genuinely delighted to join Creative Sponge. As soon as I set foot in their offices, I could see the character, passion and creativity of the place.'

Construction consultancy Ingleton Wood has boosted its architectural team with the appointment of an associate architect.

Darren Fowler joins the East Anglian firm's Norwich office, where he will develop and coordinate design projects across the region.

Mr Fowler, who joins Ingleton Wood after 13 years at another regional practice, said: 'It's a very exciting time to be joining Ingleton Wood. The teams in Norwich and Cambridge have a growing reputation and I look forward to contributing to the practice's future.'

A recruitment agency has launched a new division as it aims to grow in the coming year.

OSR Recruitment has hired Andy Rodwell as recruitment manager to head up its finance and accounting department in Norwich.

Mr Rodwell will oversee the hiring of five to six consultants as the firm expands its specialisms.

Mr Rodwell said: 'Having spent nearly four years recruiting specifically for finance and accountancy positions, OSR directors Mario Bardwell and Philip Saunders approached me with their business plan and long term strategy on how they wanted to develop this area of their business, on which I was immediately sold.'
