Southwold brewer and distiller Adnams has unveiled a new tonic water to accompany its range of award-winning gins and vodkas.
The recipe was originally developed by head distiller John McCarthy to be combined with the brand's Copper House Dry Gin and sold in the Adnams Copper House Gin & Tonic Cans, which were released earlier this year.
But their popularity has now prompted the company to release the tonic water, and a light version, as standalone product.
Mr McCarthy said: 'As soon as we released our G&T cans, our customers were asking if they could buy the tonic. It made sense for us to develop a tonic that tastes great on its own, but also one that doesn't overpower the wonderful botanical aromas and flavours in our award-winning gins.
Adnams' Copper House Dry Gin was named 'world's best gin' at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2013.
