Prospective self-builders can explore their options and get expert advice at a self-build showcase next week.
The self and custom build event at Hethel Engineering Centre on Friday, April 28 will feature presentations from industry professionals including local planners, build system suppliers, architects and financiers. The keynote speaker will be South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon, who is championing his Self Build and Custom Housebuilding Act.
Hosted by Cleantech East and timber frame providers Beattie Passive, the event will host an exhibition of suppliers and organisations, giving self and custom builders the opportunity to get advice and source suppliers, as well as offering one-to-one advice sessions.
A range of low carbon, energy efficiency solutions will also be on show as well as the chance to find out more about the Passivhaus energy performance standard.
