But Richard Hawker, a Hockering parish councillor who lives 750 metres from the site, said: “As far as I’m concerned I will be able to see that field. It is going to be dotted with black panels and I don’t relish that. But this is a way forward to cheap electricity and no carbon pollution creating climate change. This councillor is almost half a mile from the site and he can always look the other way if he does not want to see the panels.
