Here are the latest job moves and promotions across the region.

Brown & Co

A chartered surveyor has been promoted to partner after 12 years with a property and business consultancy.

Simon Wearmouth has joined the partnership of Brown & Co in Norwich, heading up its Agricultural Business Consultancy department.

Mr Wearmouth joined the Norwich office in January 2005 and is involved in a wide spectrum of work across the rural sphere and, as well as undertaking regular onsite and online machinery auctions, specialises in management of contract farming agreements, diversification, grant funding, renewables and landlord tenant works.

Castle Mall

The new manager of Norwich's Castle Mall has said he is looking forward to a new challenge – having previously held the role for nine years.

Robert Bradley has been appointed as centre manager at Castle Mall, after Amanda Phillips announced her departure.

Mr Bradley, who started in the role in March, said: 'The return to this role represents a great opportunity and a new fantastic challenge. I have watched from afar as Castle Mall has grown from strength to strength under Amanda's leadership and look forward to continuing that trend.'

M+A Partners

Accountancy firm M+A Partners has promoted two of its tax team to new positions.

The Norwich-based firm has appointed Steve Dack as tax director and Sam Holloway as tax manager.

Mr Dack joined the firm straight from university in 1997, qualifying as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 2000 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2002. Mr Holloway joined in July 2008 after obtaining a degree in accounting and finance at the University of East Anglia and has since gone on to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser.

Howes Percival

Howes Percival has recruited an employment partner to cover both litigation and advice.

Matthew Potter joins the firm's Cambridge office from Birketts where he was a partner.

Mr Potter has experience in facilities management, construction (including marine), financial and food sectors.

In particular, Mr Potter has specific expertise of large scale TUPE transfers in both the private and public sectors and restructures amongst both unionised and non-unionised work forces.

Mr Potter also has an extensive employment litigation practice both in the Employment Tribunal and an increased practice in the High Court defending and pursuing injunctions on behalf of employers and senior employees alike arising from employees post-termination restrictions.
