Norwich-based Further Search Marketing was named the best in Europe at a prestigious award ceremony in Holland.

The online marketing specialists, a member of the EDP Future 50, was named winner of the European Search Awards, which celebrates the best in search and social marketing across the continent.

Five of Further’s 24-strong team attended the event at Amsterdam’s Brabazon Palace Hotel to see if the team could follow up on the two UK Search Awards the company picked up late last year.

Client services director Louisa Mann said: “ We were thrilled when we found out we’d been nominated in not just one but two categories, and both for Norfolk-based brands.

“But to actually take home the Best Search Campaign – Leisure Award for a key local client, Richardsons Boating Holidays, is just so special.”

Further MD John Thew, said: “It’s great to be representing not only Europe but the UK too. We are in a results-based business and our results for clients continue to win recognition, but this has to be the biggest so far.”

The firm was also nominated for was the Best Search Campaign – Travel for work in the past 12 months for Dereham-based Economy Car Hire.
