A fundraising effort by Norwich based insurance brokers Hugh J Boswell has raised more than £7,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Since September staff have held a range of events including a networking dinner at The Waterside, Rollesby, which raised more than £2,500.

The firm also teamed up with law firm Howes Percival LLP, and entered a team of 27 runners into the East Anglian Air Ambulance Runway Run.

Following the event, the months of training and intense fundraising paid off when the team was awarded the prize for largest event fundraiser.

That helped Hugh J Boswell raise £7,336 in addition to the £6500 already amassed since the firm started its three-year commitment to raise at least £20,000 for the air ambulance.

Peter Foster, a Hugh J Boswell director, said: “We’re all thoroughly enjoying our two-year commitment to raising these funds for such a worthwhile charity, which we feel passionate about supporting”.
