Anglian Home Improvements has relocated its regional hub to a new site in Stockport after seeing 25% sales growth in the area in 2017.
The group, which is headquartered in Liberator Road, Norwich, posted a turnover of £237m for the year to April 2017 in its most recent accounts filed at Companies House with a loss before tax of £3.34m. It employs 1,712 people across the country and has moved to a regional operating structure since 2015.
As part of the continued investment in the north, Anglian, a member of the EDP/EADT Top100 list of largest companies by turnover in Norfolk and Suffolk, said it will be basing some of the group's national operations in Stockport to demonstrate its importance.
Jaffer Jamroz, chief operating officer, said: 'Anglian is committed to building on its presence in the north; and, after several years of growth within the region, it was clear the time was right to invest in a bigger, strategically-located hub of the quality which befits a leading home improvement firm.'
