A group of solicitors in Norwich has got into the generous spirit of Christmas with a donation to one of the city's well known festive events.

Fosters Solicitors, based on Bank Plain, has been raising money through the year for Norwich Open Christmas via dress down days and through Charity Will Month in November.

The Open Christmas invites anyone who is alone or homeless in the city on December 25 for a Christmas lunch or tea at The Halls on St Andrew's Plain.

The event, which is expected to welcome around 500 guests this year, is cooked and served by an army of volunteers.

In total Fosters raised £1,708.45 for the event.

Business development manager Leanne Pipe said the work of the Open Christmas volunteers was 'simply incredible', adding that the donation from Fosters would help to support Norwich Open Christmas in 2018 as well.
