Norwich-based education classroom specialist eco-classrooms is on track to double its turnover as it secures more work to install functional and adaptable facilities this summer.

The business is set to build new classrooms at Recreation Road, Dereham Sixth Form College and Kennett Primary, as well as expand its offering following the success of build projects at Great Dunham Primary School, near King’s Lynn and a study centre and café at Dereham Sixth-Form College.

The company is set to double its turnover from £750,000 to £1.5m next year.

Director Robert Hook said: “It’s clear eco-classrooms tick all the boxes – they are quick to install being completed from start to finish in only six weeks and the environmentally friendly structures meet the government’s target to achieve sustainable schools by 2016.”

Mr Hook also said the company was currently speaking to a number of London boroughs and other local councils.

“We currently have schemes for fast track Doctors Surgeries, changing facilities and offices on the drawing board as people look for cost effective sustainable alternatives to traditional bricks and mortar.”
