Norfolk Chamber’s new mission to “connect, support and give voice” to every business in the county was kick-started at an event in west Norfolk.
The organisation is seeking to drive up its presence in towns outside Norwich and yesterday hosted more than 130 business leaders at King’s Lynn Town Hall.
They heard from chief executive Chris Sargisson, West Norfolk Chamber president Michael Baldwin, Matt Sykes of Sales Cadence, and EDP editor David Powles.
The chamber wants to connect with more businesses across the county, starting with west Norfolk.
Public affairs manager Nova Fairbank said: “We’re saying to everyone: What’s exciting in your business, what are the challenges and how can Norfolk Chamber help?”
Chamber events in the coming weeks will include seminars on international trade, project management, wellbeing and mastering the perfect pitch.
