Time is running out for tourism and leisure businesses to put their names forward for a regional industry awards.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2019, sponsored by Hoseasons, will bring together the cream of the crop in the counties' tourism and leisure economies for a night of celebration at Open in Norwich.
The 2018 awards – the first time Norfolk and Suffolk joined forces – saw the winners crowned in a ceremony at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.
Among the winners were Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure in Lenwade, which won the Best Large Visitor Attraction title.
Adam Goymour, park manager, said the success was a 'real achievement' and an 'honour for the whole team'.
'The award has helped to enhance our vision to be Norfolk's premier family attraction,' he said.
'We are very proud of the investment into our park in the last 12 years since the Goymour family acquired the park, which we hope will make Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure an even more exciting day out for all the family – including older children.
'Since winning the award, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure has invested £2m on Predator High Ropes, The Explorers Restaurant and also the widening of the entrance road.'
Martin Dupée, chairman of Norfolk and Suffolk Tourist Attractions, said: 'Tourism and the stunning counties of Norfolk and Suffolk are two sides of the very same coin. They are absolutely integral to each other where tourism represents the largest economy of the region. Being part of this amazing industry is being part of what is great about the region.
'The Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards are a great opportunity to recognise not just the very best but also the amazing diversity that the two counties offer. I encourage all businesses and visitors to the area to nominate their favourite whether a day out, the best ever breakfast, a perfect dining experience or the greatest holiday destination.'

This year's categories include Best Independent Hotel, Best Small and Large Visitor Attraction and Best Food and Drink Tourism Attraction, with four new categories for 2019 including Best Campsite and Caravanning Experience and Eco-Tourism.
