Bosses of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership are to hold a second conference next month aimed at highlighting business opportunities for firms in the two counties.

Andy Wood, New Anglia chairman, said the event, which has secured sponsorship from the Port of Felixstowe, at John Innes Conference Centre at Norwich Research Park on March 27 was an opportunity for businesses to meet each other, share ideas and make important contacts for the future. It is open to any business, organisation or individual.

“Following the success of our first major business event, we thought it important to bring the businesses in Suffolk and Norfolk together, once again,” he said. “A core part of the event is to enable business people to learn about, and grasp, some of the exciting business opportunities which New Anglia is delivering for Suffolk and Norfolk.”

Also speaking at the event are Jason Borthwick, from Norfolk-based Deepdale Farm and Earthly Ideas, who will be sharing the story behind the diversification of his business, and young Suffolk entrepreneur Ben Bowles of stage lighting and production company CEG productions. He will be talking about tough challenges his business faced and the business opportunities grasped.
