New Anglia launches bid to listen to businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk

Businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk are being urged take time out and help make their voice heard in the corridors of power as part of a new “listening” initiative.
Developed by the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and sponsored by Norse Group, the three-month listening exercise will be launched on Thursday and aims to help secure support for Suffolk and Norfolk’s business community in Westminster and Europe.
Businesses across the two counties are invited to fill in a five-minute survey to tell New Anglia what their business issues are, barriers to growth and the challenges to business success.
This will help New Anglia to identify important challenges to companies in the region, opportunities to meet those challenges and lobby on behalf of the business community.
Business organisations in the two counties are also being contacted and invited to encourage their business members to fill in the five-minute survey, either at an event or online.
Andy Wood, chairman of New Anglia and chief executive of Adnams plc, said: “This company feedback will help New Anglia advocate for business in our area, with Westminster and Europe. If the business community speaks with one voice, we can really make ourselves heard and become a force to be reckoned with
The first exercise is taking place at a business breakfast launch at Denny Brothers in Bury St Edmunds on Thursday, but firms can also take part online.
