Nearly 8,000 people have made their voices heard loud and clear over the potential closure of two of Norwich's oldest employers.
This newspaper launched a campaign on Tuesday to save Britvic and Unilever - the producers of Robinsons squash and Colman's Mustard.
Britvic announced plans early that morning to close its Bracondale factory, and Unilever said it was considering its future at the site. Since, our petition to keep the two businesses in Norwich has gathered 7,818 supporters, with many saying the two are part of Norwich's heritage.

Another signatory, Celia Williams, added: 'Too many employees between them and their families to just walk away.'
