A family business is to represent the region in a national competition at Wembley.

Holiday accommodation firm Internet Affiliation, based in Lowestoft, has been shortlisted for The National Family Business Awards – which were set up eight years ago to recognise the different types of family firm. Regional winners and national champions will be crowned at a ceremony on July 15 in London.

John Ellis, managing director of Internet Affiliation, said: “We are most impressed to be shortlisted as finalists and honoured to represent the South East at the National Awards. Since we started our business in 2011, we’ve been working hard to make it a success by expanding and promoting more local businesses in the holiday sector. It’s an exciting time to be part of The National Family Business Awards along with our fellow family businesses from the rest of the country.”
