Oilennium has won a contract with EnerMech

A Loddon company which provides training programmes for the oil and gas industry has been awarded a contract with an Aberdeen-based mechanical engineering firm.

Oilennium Ltd has been awarded the contract by mechanical engineering group EnerMech to provide an online Learning Management System (LMS) for its 1,000-strong staff and clients.

The staff will use the LMS to access modules which include an introduction to the company and an overview of the wider oil, gas and hydrocarbons industry.

The modules will be available through EnerMech’s internal intranet and website, and will be available to staff at the company’s 18 international locations.

Tailor-made packages featuring quality, health and safety and technical modules will also be available to EnerMech’s clients.

EnerMech’s director of training, Joe O’Kane, said the training which Oilennium were providing would allow the firm to combine both e-learning and practical hands-on training. He said it would result in “better learning outcome for the delegates.”
