A Norwich-based business which creates images for supermarket websites, has completed a big contract in Slovakia with supermarket giant Tesco.

The latest deal for Brandbank, which has a studio on Whiffler Road, comes on the back of work with the supermarket giant in Ireland, the Czech Republic and Poland.

It comes after the company opened offices, a studio and warehouse in Poland earlier this year.

Tesco, which has been working with Brandbank since 2000, will initially operate from two stores covering Bratislava and several smaller towns such as Senec, Pezinok and Stupava.

Rob Tarrant, Brandbank chief executive, said the company had a proven track record of going into partnership with a retailer, entering a new market and setting up an operation from scratch.

Niall Walsh, Tesco international marketing manager, said Brandbank provided a trusted source of accurate and up to date product information. Brandbank has also launched its own websites in Poland and the Czech Republic.
