A new product from crisp maker Kettle is helping a Norwich social enterprise to fuel its ambitions.

The Bowthorpe-based manufacturer is selling specially designed packets of its crispy bacon and maple syrup crisps in aid of The Feed, with which it has recently extended its partnership.

Kettle is donating contributions from sales of the crisps to the charity, with a promise of a minimum £67,500 donation up to the end of 2020.

Launched in 2014, The Feed trains disadvantaged and homeless adults in catering skills to increase their employability and confidence.

It plans to open a new training centre and community café in Prince of Wales Road which will enable it to double the number of trainees it can support.

Matt Townsend, The Feed’s chief executive, said: “The charity pack will significantly increase awareness of our work to help individuals reach their full potential in the Norwich area.”
