Seven staff at Jarrold have been made redundant following a review of the business.
The firm said the changes were in response to looming challenges likely to face the retail sector in the year ahead.
It was unable to give details of which posts were lost, but said they were across a variety of roles.
A Jarrold spokesman said: 'Jarrold Retail currently employ over 400 people. We have recently undertaken a review to ensure the shape of our business is such that it recognises and addresses the challenges in retail we expect to encounter in 2014.'
