A group of business leaders is encouraging bosses to talent-spot within Norfolk.
The Institute of Directors (IoD) Norfolk branch is hosting a panel discussion at Open Norwich called Diamonds in the Rough.
The session, which will be held on Wednesday, March 7, in the middle of National Apprenticeships Week, will see company directors explain how they attract, encourage and nurture talent.
Seamus Nevin, head of policy research at IoD, said: 'Employers are now finding it increasingly difficult to recruit the workers they need. Access to skills is currently one of the highest concerns for IoD members.' The panel, hosted by James Kidd, Mills & Reeve LLP and IoD Norfolk HR ambassador features Emily Groves, managing director of Indigo Swan, Rachel Blackburn of UstoU Consulting and Margaret Burnside of Cake People Development.
