Norwich City director Stephen Fry took time off from filming The Hobbit in New Zealand to star alongside some Canary players in the club’s innovative “Pass It On” viral video, promoting the new home kit.
“We’re so thrilled Aviva are with us for another four years,” said Fry. “A four years which we hope will see our beloved club consolidate its natural home in the Premier League.
“The new kit fitted me like a… football shirt. I was so pleased to be able to launch it, even while 12,000 miles away. You’d be amazed how many Norwich fans there are in New Zealand.”
The theme of the viral video is “Pass it on”, featuring Norwich City players, Aviva staff and other guests including Stephen Fry, celebrating the launch of the new home kit.
Norfolk turkey giant Bernard Matthews is in talks to sell a stake in the business.

This season's kit was great and thus was voted as the best kit by Premier League fans. If you have to change the kit at least make it better. This is a massive step backwards with regards to design. Very ordinary. If I was one of the players I would be cheesed of downgrading to this kit. Looks quite similar to the 199495 Mitre kit.

Makes you wonder why the police haven't got better things to occupy themselves with. Unless it's computer hacking, it's not even a proper crime. NCFC could have been done for wasting police time. And if it's hacking, it's hardly worth an early morning knock on the door, is it? It's not as though he was embezzling the club's accounts

It's pathetic that there are Ipswich Town fans posting comments on this message board just to have a dig at our team. They have obviously got nothing better to do. There are certain words to describe these people - jealous, sad, backward, gormless, thick etc. They should go and crawl under the rock from whence they came. Do they spend all day just reading through Norwich City forums? Why don't they write on their own sorry Ipswich Town related websites and complain about their continually non-achieving team? By the way, I like our new kit but I won't be buying it. Too bloody expensive. I've spent over £500 on matches this season through being a super member.

@Colin. There is an agreement with kit suppliers and shirt sponsors that the away kit HAS to be worn a minimum of 5 times a season, even though we actually clash with very few teams. Personally, I would like to see a darker shade of green for next season's away kit. I like the new shirt and will be ordering one tomorrow.

Ged you have some cheek calling Stephen Fry a buffoon. You should be on street corners selling pencils from a paper cup.

Yet another cheap , poorly designed piece of Italian crap!!! When will us Norwich supporters put up a fight for a decent kit supplier? The last shirts plucked to easy and were short in the body...no to mention the sizes were all Italian...£45 for a poor quality shirt for Norwich yet Chelsea unveiled their new blue and gold Adidas shirt for £45......I rest my case!!! Two words immediately spring to mind: Laughing and Stock. We really don't do ourselves any favours do we. The club needs to distance itself from buffoons like Fry not embrace them. A total embarrassment. Clubs a joke. Ged - Simply a legend.

I agree with Soglio, the video is not great and it looks like it is about to get a lot worse. Being positive, it might end up as a YouTube viral classic.

Dreadfully lame video. Kit ok, but nothing special - pity about Ruddy's kit. Away kit, if we need one, should be red, as in the early 70's. Blood and fire as Shankley would have said.

Looks ok. Shame it's £45, I thought shirts had peaked at £40? Norwich seem to charge more for everything though, end of season DVDs for example. I just wish they'd stop wearing the green away kit at Newcastle etc. Since when did Yellow and Green clash with Black and White?

Not really sure why it's a rip off, no one is forcing anyone to buy the new kit. If you already own one of the old kits then just wear that, makes no difference. I personally like it and might get the shirt if I can afford it.
