A Norwich homes developer has launched a year of fundraising for a local charity with a £550 donation.

Lovell, based on Broadland Business Park, has chosen St Martins Housing Trust – which helps homeless people across Norfolk – as its nominated charity for 2018.

The start of the partnership saw St Martins chief executive Dr Jan Sheldon receive a donation raised by Lovell staff.

Lovell regional managing director, Simon Medler, said: 'St Martins is a true force for good, providing a wide of range of support for homeless people in the area and helping them to move forward with their lives.

'As a homes company ourselves, we fully recognise the value of the assistance which the charity gives to those who are without a home, or who may be at risk of being homeless.'

Ms Sheldon added: 'It's the perfect synergy; a home developer providing support to help homeless people to turn their lives around.'
