A charity-run skills and activities centre in Great Yarmouth has teamed up with a local technology firm.
Centre 81, which caters for adults with disabilities, has forged a partnership with underwater electronics manufacturer Seacon which will see it receive a £1,000 boost towards improvements to its facilities and help to answer its call for volunteers.
Seacon's HR business partner Suzanne Spooner said: 'We like to get involved with our community and we are pleased to get involved with Centre 81's wonderful work.'
The cash donation will go towards decorating and refurbishing Centre 81's games and computer room, and it is hoped that Seacon staff will also get involved with volunteering work, to help with the redecoration as well as gardening tasks and fundraising events.
Seacon, on the town's Gapton Hall industrial estate, was taken over by global technology company TE Connectivity in 2014.
