North Walsham Young Farmers have presented a cheque for £3,000 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, raised by posing naked for a charity calendar.
The charity was chosen because of its life-saving efforts to help the club’s life vice president Tim Papworth when he was seriously injured in a farm accident seven years ago.
The club’s press secretary, Sheryl Melton, said: “Our aim was to raise enough money to fund one flight and, as part of our fundraising, we created a naked calendar posing in rural and agricultural settings.
“With the sales of the calendars, our annual dinner dance raffle and other donations we were delighted to have raised £3,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance to help them continue the incredible work that they do. We would like to thank all those that purchased a calendar and donated to this fantastic charity.”
