Rural dwellers are being urged to have their say on countryside matters by taking part in a national survey before it closes on Wednesday, April 18.

Recharging Rural, set up by the Prince’s Countryside Fund (PCF), is a six month project giving rural dwellers a chance to discuss issues how their communities can become more self-sufficient and viable.

Chair of governors at Easton and Otley College, Mark Pendlington, a PCF trustee, said: “It’s time for all of us who care so deeply for the health and wellbeing of our rural communities, to step-up and have our say. The PCF drives the national focus on so many of the key issues, from rural isolation and better skills for young people, to supporting community-based projects. So this is a terrific opportunity to forge this partnership. Together, we can make Recharging Rural a powerhouse of ideas and action.”

This survey, which is open to everyone who lives or works in or for rural areas of the UK, takes around 20 minutes to complete.
