We are going to add a new flavour to our Posh Pop range this year - a Cream Soda! But we are going to give it a modern twist and are going to add a tiny bit of Rhubarb flavour to the recipe. We’d love everyone’s help with how to name the new flavour.

We are going to make it during March and the options we are mulling over are:

[1] Cream Soda with a Hint of Rhubarb

[2] Cream Soda with a Dash of Rhubarb

[3] Cream Soda with a Splash of Rhubarb

[4] Cream Soda with a Smidgen of Rhubarb

We’ve been asked so many times if we could make a Cream Soda variety, and it seems the right time to refresh the range of flavours that we make and launch a new flavour for Summer 2012!

Retro food and drink is doing really well in the marketplace at the moment (think cupcakes, and Traditional British meals). We’re seeing really strong sales for our Dandelion and Burdock flavour that was launched last summer. Cream Soda will make a great flavour to sit along side the current range.

We will sell it for the whole of 2012, and fingers crossed if sales are strong then it will stay a permanent variety in the range. There’s already been lot of interest from the trade who like the idea of a modern take on a traditional Cream Soda variety - so we have high hopes that it will do really well when it hits the shelves!

We’ve thought of 4 different flavour wordings, but we can’t quite decide which one sounds right.

The more we’ve mulled them over the more we like the sound of all of them. Should we play safe and go ‘hint’, does splash sound exciting or not very generous with the rhubarb? is smidgen a bit too wacky for a food label?

We’ve had all these thoughts and more! At the end of the day it won’t be us buying them, so we’d really like the input of the EDP24 readers to give their stamp of approval - we’ll go with whichever one comes out top in the survey!C
