The top people, companies, ideas and technology in the East of England’s energy sector will be celebrated at an annual awards ceremony.

The East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) Awards, now in their 14th year, highlight the best of the industry in the region along with the east’s importance to the national energy picture.

Organisers are also inviting companies to share in the success stories through sponsorship.

The winners will be chosen on September 14 and showcased at a gala dinner at Dunston Hall near Norwich.

EEEGR chief executive Simon Gray said: “So much great work goes on within the energy sector in the East of England for the benefit of companies’ clients, but it often goes unrecognised in the wider industry.”

The categories for the 2017 competition are aligned to special interest groups, whose work mirrors EEEGR’s current priorities. The deadline for entries (EEEGR members only) is August 18.
