Today sees the launch of this year’s EDP Business Awards - a celebration of the successes of all our businesses.

Entries are now open to enter 12 categories from customer care through to best employer.

Finalists will also attend a special gala awards evening at the Norfolk Showground Arena on Thursday November 6 where the Denise Anderson award for outstanding achievement and the Barclays Business of the year - the winner of winners category - will also be unveiled.

This year you can also see footage from some of our sponsors detailing what is they are looking for in a winning business.

Tim Seeley, Head of East Anglia, Corporate Banking at Barclays, said: “Recognising the achievements of businesses is more important than ever before as we start to see as optimism flourish in the UK. It is great to see that many local businesses are investing for the future, creating wealth and employment, investing in new technologies or exploring new markets for exports.
