EDP Future 50 firm ESE Direct forms partnership with Attleborough-based furniture manufacturer

EDP Future50 firm ESE Direct has announced a partnership with bespoke office furniture manufacturer Lee & Plumpton to deliver high-end UK-made products.

The move came after ESE Direct, which supplies commercial and industrial products to a range of clients, received a customer order from a client asking for “something a bit different”.

That prompted the firm to contact Attleborough-based Lee & Plumpton, which uses computer aided design to produce bespoke office furniture.

This turned out to be such a successful venture that Lee & Plumpton are now featuring in ESE Direct’s new catalogue which comes out at the end of January.

Founded in 1975, ESE Direct, which is based in Northumberland Street, Norwich, has seen a fourth consecutive year of record sales doubling to more than £5m while customer orders have exceeded 10,000.
