A DOCUMENT storage firm has its accommodation problems taped after opened a new £1million office and warehouse facility.

Matthew Hancock MP officially launched Box-it East’s new home at Symonds Farm Business Park, a farm diversification, near Risby, Bury St Edmunds.

The firm provides a variety of secure services including document storage, confidential destruction and scanning.

“We had outgrown our previous facility and our move marks an exciting new era for Box-it East, presenting viable opportunities for rapid business growth,” said regional director David Midwood.

“Our team has doubled in size since January and we see this pattern continuing as we take on new business throughout 2012 and beyond.”

Electricity is generated via an anaerobic digestion plant fuelled exclusively by maize silage as part of a renewable energy scheme installed by George Gittus at his Symonds Farm earlier this year.
