BARRATT North London sponsored the Harlow Show for the third year running as its exclusive event partner and was pleased to host a record number of visitors in the Barratt marquee, including Bill Rammell, MP for Harlow, and Cllr Tony Hall, Chairman of Harlow Council.

The show, which was in the Town Park, opposite the housebuilder's striking Fifth Avenue development, just off Fifth Avenue itself, took place on Sunday August 31.

Gary Ennis, regional managing director Barratt Southern, said: "The Harlow Show is an important annual event and as Fifth Avenue is one of the town's largest developments, being a major part of the Harlow Gateway regeneration project, we were delighted to provide support through our sponsorship; this year we had more visitors than ever before.

"We believe we have established a strong relationship with Harlow Council and over the next four years will be delivering 750 much-needed new homes at Fifth Avenue; from affordable and first-time buyer homes through to larger family houses.

"We are strongly committed to supporting the local community during the build period and one of our latest initiatives is with Harlow College, where we have commissioned two students to create sculptures for Fifth Avenue, which will be unveiled later in the year."

There was plenty to see and do in Barratt's large marquee, including an exhibition showcasing the progress of the two sculptures by Madeleine Allen and Michael Austin, and a drawing competition.

Barratt has some excellent opportunities at Fifth Avenue, both for existing homeowners and first- time buyers, with these tailored to suit individual buyers' needs.

Prices at Fifth Avenue are from £140,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, £185,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, £250,000 for a two-bedroom house, £320,000 for a three-bedroom house and £370,000 for a four-bedroom house.

The sales and marketing suite and six showhomes are open seven days a week, 10am to 6pm, telephone 01279 641168. Information on all Barratt developments is available on www.barratthomes.co.uk
