Is your business one of the best and brightest in our region? Is it a pioneer leading the way in its sector, or setting an example to others?

Is your business one of the best and brightest in our region? Is it a pioneer leading the way in its sector, or setting an example to others?

The Eastern Daily Press Business Awards celebrate the outstanding talent in this region – but with the deadline for entries falling on Sunday, July 30, there is no time to waste in submitting your entry.

This year’s theme is innovation, in all its forms, with all the finalists chosen by our judges invited to a glittering black-tie awards ceremony at the Norfolk Showground on November 2.

EDP business editor Mark Shields said: “The EDP Business Awards recognise the very best that our region has to offer.

“There are so many inspiring and creative businesses in our area, businesses who are discovering new ways of working, new ways of thinking and new opportunities to exploit – this is what we mean by innovation.

“Our winners in the past – all ambitious and forward-thinking companies – have told us the awards have opened doors for them, recognising their employees’ success, raising their profile to customers, and highlighting their ambitions to new recruits.”

The categories for the 2017 awards include:

• Breaking Boundaries (sponsored by Lovewell Blake)

• Tech Innovator (sponsored by Computer Service Centre)

• Knowledge Catalyst (sponsored by the University of East Anglia)

• Investing in Future Growth (sponsored by Howes Percival)

• Skills of Tomorrow (sponsored by Indigo Swan)

• Top 100 Accelerator (sponsored by Mills & Reeve, PwC, Roche)

• Future50 One to Watch (sponsored by Nwes)

• Enviro-technologies (sponsored by Paul Robinson Partnership)

• Small Business (sponsored by Farnell Clarke)

• Customer Care (sponsored by Greater Anglia)

The Barclays Business of the Year will be chosen from all the entries, and the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement award, sponsored by Anglian Water, will be named on the night.

• Go to www.edpbusinessawards.co.uk to find out more and complete a short entry form. Table sponsorship packages for the event on November 2 are also available.
