Offshore windfarm developments

The government has proposed two rounds of wind farm developments: Round One was announced in 2000-1 and 12 of the 18 projects have gained all the necessary statutory consents to enable construction and operation. Round Two was announced in December 2003 with 15 projects being proposed within and beyond territorial waters.
