The local girl who has moved up and up!
Becky Mantin was born in Norwich and attended Norwich High School for Girls. She began her career in the media when she joined Radio Broadland. Next it was a move to Anglia TV where she became famous for her glamorous role as a weather girl. Later she went on to presenting roles before leaving Anglia in February 2005 to join the national weather team on ITV alongside Sian Lloyd and other national weather presenters.
Becky has appeared and presented on This Morning where she was the live link in Australia to ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’. She has also worked with Five and Sky but is now permanently with the ITV National Weather Team.
Becky is no stranger to the Norfolk Recruitment Awards having co-presented the first five year’s with Stephan Phillips (Archant Norfolk’s managing director).
She has a passion for water sports, particularly sailing and is this year racing back across the Atlantic in a yacht.
Although Becky is involved in lots of travel these days she still sees Norfolk as home.
It is great to see her back in to our midst adding her own inimitable style to the evening.
Welcome back Becky!
