Criteria
This award is aimed at branch managers, sector managers, team leaders, supervisors and anyone who manages a team.
The judges will be looking for a manager who provides direction and purpose, who motivates others to achieve a high level of success and takes ownership for the team's performance.
This manager must have credibility within their organisation, must act
as a role model to their peers and their team and must regularly demonstrate
the ability to create a vision and inspire others to realise it.
Questions
Please explain why this person deserves to win the Best Manager Award by
answering the following questions:
1. How do they support and motivate their team and individual team members
to hit or exceed targets?
2. How do they develop and train their team?
3. What additional external factors do they bring to create success for
the business?
4. Give examples where the manager has contributed to the team's outstanding
performance.
