A very sad time for a lady who meant so much to so many
people, she touched the hearts of so many and will be
missed by a great deal more, in my heart I will miss
you very much as will others.
John Graves, Horsford/Norfolk
She was my favourite member of the Royal Family. She
will be sadly missed. On ANZAC Day when the bugle plays
it will remind me of the Queen Mother as I remember
it from the funeral. It will always remind me of her
life. On Easter Day when the wind blows it will say
"Elizabeth". So I will never forget the life
of the Queen Mother. She was a smiling grandmother to
all people all over the world. Rest in peace. I will
miss you heaps.
Alicia Bishop, Gosford, Australia
I am sorry to have heard of the death of such a sweet
lady. Although I never met her, she touched my heart
the times I heard her speak on TV. Just a little message
from me to you:
She is not gone
She is just away
She is with Our Father in Heaven
Where you will all be together some day
God bless your all in this time of healing.

A sad day for not only Great Britain but for the rest
of the world. The Queen Mum was indeed a special person
and will be missed very much. I had the pleasure of
seeing her many years ago at the Sandringham Flower
Show and treasure the snapshots I took of her then.
Megan Harris, Del City, Oklahoma, USA
An amazing lady, the likes of whom we'll never see again.
May God be close to her family at this time.

She will always have a special place in the hearts of
all her subjects. We give thanks for the life of a wonderful
Queen and later as Queen Mother.
Marie Simmons, Aylsham, Norfolk
We will sadly miss the smiling face of the Queen Mother
- she was everyone's grandmother! We recently holidayed
in Norfolk and visited Sandringham. She will always
be fondly remembered and never forgotten. A wonderful
lady.
The Bishop family, Gosford, Australia
I was born in one of the country's in the Empire as
it then was. The Queen Mother had a great influence
on our lives in those distant days. We loved her dearly
and it is sad days we are now experiencing. May she
rest in peace.

I currently live in the States. There are several Brits
in this area. We will all miss seeing the lovely smile
and friendship she showed to one and all. May the Lord
bless her and the family.

She will be sadly missed by all of my family. Our thoughts
are with her family at this sad time.
Chris Coulter, Thetford
A sad loss for all of us. I am originally from Norwich,
Norfolk, and in the 1950s I was running an errand for
the firm I worked for, and always cut through the cathedral
grounds when I had to make one of those trips to the
Accountants office.
One afternoon, I was late and really running fast, so
that I skidded around the corner of the Cathedral and
almost ran over the Queen Mother and the Bishop. She
smiled and said hello, and I was very embarrassed. The
Queen Mother had the most beautiful
pink and white complexion and brilliant eyes. I didn't
really believe that it had been that lovely lady, until
I saw in the newspaper that HRH had made an unpublisized
visit that day. A lady to the end and a pity there aren't
more like her.
Alberta Sayer Conger, Wilderville, Oregon
Remembering with love and respect a great lady and sending
our prayers and sympathy to Her Majesty the Queen and
all the Royal Family.
Stella Freegard and Jan Burrow-Wilkes, Quidenham
Although now living in the United States, I have fond
memories of the Queen Mother, whom I was lucky to see
on several occasions while living close to London in
my early years. She was a marvellous lady, loved by
all, who brought dignity to the Royal Family. The Queen
Mother was a great ambassador for the UK and she will
be missed worldwide. We were truly blessed to have her
with us for so many years. God bless her soul.
Patricia M. Smith, Virginia, USA
Even though I never met her, I thought she was a remarkable
lady and should be treasured in all our hearts.
Member of the Shinkins Family, Norfolk
God be with you and keep you safe. Rest with Jesus,

I too want to thank you for providing an opportunity
to share our condolences to the British people, to my
second home. My mother is from Norfolk and my family
is there. We are truley saddened by the loss of such
a magnificent lady. Her graciousness and love for her
country and it's people were never failing. No matter
what termoil Britan has experienced you could always
count on the Queen Mother to be there for the people,
providing stability and yes always a smile of encouragement.
She will be greatly missed by not only the British people
but the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with her
family; her imediate family as well as her beloved people.
Corrina Wiechmann, Vacaville, California, USA
Thank you for the opportunity to express our condolences
to the British people. A Grand Lady who will be missed
by all of us. I'm a former British Subject and have
family in Norfolk. I share with them the lost of our
Queen Mother.
Margaret L. Carter, Lowell, Vermont, USA
Since before the last world war, Great Britain has been
envied by nearly every other country on this planet.
There has been only one reason for this the Queen
Mother.
Keith Gerrard, Norfolk
A very sad day.
E Newey, Palo Alto, California, USA
We lost our nation's grandmother today, who was always
there for us. Even through the duration of WWII she
graced the streets of London and shared in the pain.
It is now our turn to continue her undaunting quest.
We will miss you. You shall always be in our hearts.
Nick Ashton, Fort Myers, Florida, USA
