Cressida Investigates
Our
roving reporter, Cressida McLaughlin, will be travelling around
Norfolk investigating the paranormal exclusively for the Spooky
Norfolk website. Her adventures will take her to several spots
of great historical and paranormal interest. So read on, as
Cressida uncovers the spooky side of our county . . .
Blickling
Hall, Aylsham
Looking at the pieces on the website, and browsing through
the calendar for inspiration for future locations and dates

must have been the 19th of May 2 years ago when I convinced
my partner that it would be an excellent idea to see if we
could spy the ghost of Anne Boleyn at Blickling Hall.

Green Farm Hotel, Thorpe Market

Market, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the farmhouse

the bar, already bustling with fellow ghost hunters I could
tell it was going to be a good night. More
The
Old Station House, Cromer
The Old Station House Cromer, is an impressive Victorian building,
built in the late 1800s and now converted into a bar and restaurant.
With its mock Tudor exterior and gabled windows, it looks
very much like an old station and is fairly imposing, even
before you know that it is supposed to be haunted. More
Bircham Newton airbase
I have long been interested in the paranormal, and on several
occasions have excited myself with trips round Norfolk where
my partner would take me to places of great historical and
paranormal interest. One of these was the Bircham Newton airbase
near Kings Lynn where a dead airman haunts the squash court.
