Sudan
Baby Appeal
The EDP's Sudan Baby Appeal comes as the humanitarian
crisis in Sudan escalates. War in Sudan has created
one of the worlds worst humanitarian crises, which
has left many thousands of innocent people dead, injured
and raped, as well as more than a million homeless.
Our campaign with the experienced crisis charity Hope
and Homes for Children is aimed at the very specific
target of saving the lives of abandoned babies in a
single institution in Khartoum.

CRed:
Carbon Reduction
Norfolk people have been handed a major challenge in
the fight against global warming to set an example
on how to reduce carbon emissions. The initiative aims
to see Norfolk become a beacon for how to hit the carbon
reduction targets laid down by the Kyoto agreement.
Its challenge is simple: bring carbon emissions down
by 60pc by 2025 in Norfolk twice as fast as the
rest of the county.

We
Care Appeal
The EDP launched this millennium appeal to raise £1million
to establish an enduring charitable trust to give practical
and financial support to carers in Norfolk. Notably
in September 2003, the appeal made history when a Private
Member's Bill was passed to allow permanent endowment
trusts to receive national lottery funding.
