Paradise [ip] Recycle at work

I work for a training company in Taverham and we have alot of transient customers and it is not feasible to keep educating individuals on the benefits of re-cycling but it would be very useful to get hold of some of the large cardboard "bins" that you can get that have the postbox type hole in the top for empty cans, etc.

The more "in your face" they are, the better!!

Anybody know where we can get some please?

Thanks

Re: Recycle at work
you may want to ask at Taverham garden centre as they have loads of good size boxs which will go to be recycled any way so why not use them 1st.

Re: Recycle at work
My work is rubbish at recycling. We fill 2 commercial size wheelie bins with mostly cardboard and office waste, I'm guessing the the company that supplies the bins doesn't sort the rubbish after it gets tipped in the back of the lorry and crushed.

Re: Recycle at work

If you want some help and advice Norfolk County Council offer a free service where they will come into your business and help you identify ways to reduce waste/increase recycling and can also look at other areas such as water and energy use.

Ring 01603 223002 or e-mail environmental.advice@norfolk.gov.uk for details.

Alternatively you can search for reprocessors (i.e. people who will re-use or recycle waste) at www.databases.org.uk/reprocessors Click on paper and cardboard for a list of potential contractors.

Hope this helps

Bins for cans and paper are available from Unex designs. See http://www.unex.co.uk/Recycling.asp or ring 01803 612772 for details. Cost is £19 per pack of 10.

Evolve paper have been offering free paper recycling bins - see www.thegreencard.org.uk/pages/sustainability/evolve.asp although I'm unsure whether these are still available.

The Recycling Factory provide free bins for empty ink cartridges and toners and then they collect the bin for free when it is full.  I think its a must for every work place.  Call them on 0800 091 0696. You can ask the money to go to charity as well!
