Home Guard in Weston Longville.

Hi.

My wife is tracing her family tree, she was born a Pardon (daughter of Stanley ).Although Stan moved to Stockport in 1946 when he demobed he left 10 other siblings in the Weston Longville area, two of which are still going strong in nearby villages. We are trying to find out if anyone can remember Weston in the war when Stan's farther was in the home guard and maybe some of Stan's older brothers as there is quite a gap between them all. They lived at Greensgate Farm at the end of the war but started it at Mulbury Tree Farm,Hunsgate Common while the amercans built an airbase. If anyone has any memories we would be very greatful or any info on the Pardon family.
