not your opinions, you're just wrong. fact a mundo

why can people not see through such 'average' music? nothing can annoy me more than average drivle. i would prefer to go to a gig of a band that i hated. my point here is; 'melodic', 'guitars behind heads', 'middle aged' are all terms that shouldn't exist when explaining music in any shape or form. our ears are already perishing from the mundane 'keane', 'snow patrol' and 'nora jones' so please please, i beg of you, realise that the pistolas and elis are doing something real, it gets talked about and all of you people slagging them off only fuels them to go on and blow out the electricity in more sweaty clubs. don't any of you get it?! the fact that people from Stalham are pissed off with the pistolas is humouring them more than you can possibly imagine,.....

RE: not your opinions, you're just wrong. fact a mundo

Everyone has their own opinion on what they think is good music - one person's 'average' is another person's 'amazing'.  Let's just say that everyone has their own OPINION on what type of music they do and don't like and that none of them are right or wrong - just different!!!

At the end of the day it doesn't seem to matter whether the likes or Keane write 'mundane' music or not - the fact is that they were obviously in the right place at the right time, were seen by the right people and are now making shed loads of money!!!  No one can argue with that!!! The pistolas were chosen on the night to win the competition and their style of music was obviously what the judges were looking for at this particular competition.

To be fair, I have heard the Pistolas play before and have thought that they have played technically much better at other gigs and that other bands were technically better on the night - but that doesn't take away the fact that they won and I congratulate them on doing so even though their style of music isn't really the type of thing I would ordinarily listen to.

There really is no need for your to get personal about the members of other bands in the competition - no need for you to drop to the levels of those you are slating hey?!!! Every one of the bands deserved to be there on the night and I hope that even though you think that some of the music was 'mundane' that you can appreciate the technical ability of a lot of the musicians and that instead of it being 'mundane' was just not particularly to your own personal taste.
