Would like to hear from anyone who was at F.G.S from '56 to '61. Remember Bellamy, Bottomley, Calaby, Cox, Pechey, Riches, Roy, Tyce and Wilson. Living in Australia since 1970. Vern Tennant.

Re: Fakenham Grammar School

Dear Vern Tennant

I was at FGS from 57 to 62 so must have been in the year below you.  I recall all the persons you mentioned.  I played football in 1st eleven with Fred Riches, Frank Tyce and Norman Wilson. Frank Tyce has spent all his careeer as sports teacher at Sheringham Secondary School.  Don't know anything about the rest, although I have seen Bellamy on TV from time to time as he is an actor.  I have also been living in Australia since 1970, in Sydney.  Would be interested in meeting.

Whilst looking around for anything about FGS I found an interesting article on the web. Who remembers Dr  Loose?, but did you know about his background. Have a look here http://www.csm.org.uk/news.php?viewmessage=59
