Re: Michael Jackson...thanks for the music.

wallis, news coverage of what is happening at the time, is just that, and is what we have transmitted to us on our TVs.

I don`t have a choice as what the content will be on any given news item, or wether I am interested. I suppose the amount of people interested in some form of sport and pay to watch out weighs those that do not like any form of sport at all.

Wimbledon is rammed down our throats for two weeks, cricket seems on every month. Neither interest me at all. Murry does not support England when the Scots are not playing, so why support him and over the top media coverage. Thank gods he`s out and its calmed down, many think the same of M. Jackson but his succuss is on a far different level.

I am Beatles person, but I do enjoy some of Michaels music and the very creative videos that he has performed in. I have also viewed recently some of his stage performances and the energy and commitment he put in. I have to admit far more visual than the Beatles that mainly stood still, but then its a different era and more technology involved.

The M. Jackson following is big worldwide and he is big news untill he is laid to rest. I think that will be Neverland and it will be run like Elvis and Graceland. To me thats an obvious money maker and the sales from his rehersal DVDs will probably clear most if not all of his debts.  The sales will be enormous worldwide and well may even be a record.

Wether we like it or not he is a icon and a legend which is news worthy and and has massive financial impact. So we might as well except it, because we just aint gonna change things.

Embarrassed [:$] Re: Michael Jackson...thanks for the music.
ROBERT

Fair comment. as usual!

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough - again.

I am all too painfully aware that it is me, MOI, who is out of step. Be it cars, footie, music, retail therapy... I tend to dwell in my own little world and frankly feel that I have not a lot in common with most people. Now, that doesn't make me wrong. But it doesn't make me right either! Just diffrun [gardener]. I acknowledge my fundamental weaknesses - and therein resides the main reason why I am signing orf this forum - the one and only forum that I have ever been involved with - on July 9. That's five days from now. That'll be a twelevemonth after I made my first post.

If ce doesn't raise a serious objection I may post on Nothing Much now and then. And I will open and read threads which look interesting. But I won't post any more. The only exceptions being...

Firstly, to [seldom] update forumers on latest developments on topics where I was the OP - development and environment issues in the main - and

Secondly, if the Chilcot inquiry process goes as badly as I rather suspect it will I will open a thread on that topic... ImpeachBlair. All and sundry, as ever, will be at perfect liberty to ignore me.

OK?

PS I posted on the Good News thread that of the four things that one can get wrong when starting to use a walking stick, as I had to last year... I, moi the bukuru/wallis Clever Dick extraordinaire and Chief Twerp managed to get three of 'em wrong! (I DID manage to hold the stick the right way up...). Correction. Two other damn fool mistakes that I also commonly make - either forgetting to take the bluddy stick with me, or taking it with me and leaving it in a shop...

So - 5 out of 6 failures. innit

And yes, I was counting! My mistakes.

You even have adulterated the Michael Jackson thread with your self absortion

It has nothing to do with you, wallis

Thank God the Forum can now go back to its initial intention.

Leaving the Forum but will be back on this and that and this and that, you just cannot let go.

This thread is about Michael Jackson, love him or loathe him.

Tongue Tied [:S] Re: Michael Jackson...thanks for the music.
Thank you for that lesson in the art of discourse. The line of reasonoing, consistent with the OP, is that Wacko is naff. It has nothing to do with me? You are joining the list of microcephalics who seek to bully me into desisting from posting what I choose to post on a logical, polemical development of the OP Back to yer old tricks, Jill. Don't yew jurst leurve an argyment

You are dead right wallis

This thread is about Michael Jackson so why do we get chapter and verse about your so called intentions. Threads have been started to get you to post your sad life story on it to prevent it spreading to the other threads.

If you could only stick to the topic of the thread, you wouldnt get the reactions you get, no one need to be rude, bully or even disagree, but no, you rant, rave and bore everyone to death with your inane one liners, writing with a pathetic speech impediment and think you are far cleverer than others when it is obvious that you are just as whacko as Jacko.

Another thread disrupted by you, then we get the wheedling, you bully me when it is in fact you who have bullied from the first day you have come on here. You have tried to discredit me from the start, I delayed my posting as you said you were leaving but no, from my first post you have it in youir sad mind that I am someone else and have mercilessly bullied me from day one.

Well, you have picked on the wrong person, matey, you are sexist, lewd and a Forum bully and when you have your final flounce, the Forum can take a huge step forward and become the place where civilised people can have a decent conversation.

Only you can rest your case so many times, wallis

Perhaps it is time you rested it for good, its getting you absolutely nowhere.

Ever thought about commenting on Michael Jackson, on topic for once, he had some good songs which will be very apt on the 9th

(S)Hes out of my life...........come the 9th

Man in the Mirror.............self absorbed

Bad.....................pathetic

Thriller.................damp squib, more like

Blame it on the Boogie........Blame it on everyone else

Reminder, you have rested your case.

Yes, you are correct MKJ

It was the obvious personal enjoyment and ego boost wallis displayed when Keith left which was so unpalatable to other posters, He actually wallows in it when he thinks he has achieved getting someone banned.

He gloated over it, it was sickening, even if Keith was his own worst enemy.

Saying that, Keith has his faults but as far as I know, he has never deliberately targeted posters in the way wallis has, simply to get them banned.

Lets watch the next step, will it be poor poor me or
some more deliberate baiting.

So if Keith was banned for doing what wallis is doing, why is he allowed to continue? It should be a level playing field. I wasnt standing up for Keith, I was appalled at the way wallis glorified in his leaving and tries to make it happen to other posters

Each post contains a simple button marked "Report".

Whilst I am no fan of Wallis, and on some occassions bored by the off topic comments made, I do not consider his posts have reached the level of the offensive drivel posted by Keef before his demise.  That is my opinion.  Take it or leave it, no interest to me.

If you consider Wallis' posts have breached the Forum Rules, then report them with your reasons. Let the Moderator be the final judge.

Perhaps if he had targeted you like he has me, you would have a different perspective, Glass

Thank you, I will take your advice as I am sure he has had previous warnings.
